Job Description

The FSR will provide exceptional service to ourmembers with loan and account requests. They will identify and recommendfinancial products and services to members in order to help them achievefinancial success and build member loyalty.


Identifies the financial needs of new and existing membersthrough open-ended questions and job related tools to provide products andservices to members to maximize quality relationships with the credit union. 

Open new accounts, process consumer and mortgage loanapplications, assist members with accounttransactions, and demonstrate the use of automated services to new andexisting members in order to increase the use of automated services such asonline banking, eStatements, and bill pay set-up 

Promote and educate members on creditunion products and services based on member needs that are realized from memberconversations, answer member questions regarding their account and allproducts/services including but not limited to: ACH transactions, stoppayments, VISA Debit Card, On-line banking, Bill Pay, wire transfers, ShareCertificates, deposit rates, IRA's, and account histories.  

Respond to members’ requests, problems,and concerns; troubleshoot issues, and/or direct them to the appropriate personfor specific information and assistance; may handle more complex questions and problemsfor other branch staff. 

Accountable for achieving individual performance goals andexpectations. 

Provide prompt, consistent, courteous and personal serviceto members. 

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System(NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes acriminal background and credit check. This registration process takes placepost-employment. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registrationrequirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit report,may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment. 

Adhere to all Westerrapolicies and procedures and Federal and State laws and regulations applicableto the credit union.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 1 year financial institution experience in personalbanking and consumer lending required; Minimum1 Year consultative sales/service role preferred.

Bankingor credit union experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required.
