Job Description

This position will be responsible for supervising Lending Services Support Representatives, ensuring vehicle and real estate collateral documents are accurate and filed within policy guidelines, ensuring record retention policies are followed, and that all compliance requirements are met. Performs duties according to established procedures and adheres to Credit Union policies.

Essential Functions:

Direct staff in daily and long-term task completion.

Oversees staff performance and delivery of services by monitoring available reports, and prepares monthly report of staff production.

Supervise staff with direct reporting relationship and human resource functions; hire, train and support staff, coach to performance expectations through regularly scheduled one-on-ones/observations and timely feedback, administer scheduling/attendance monitoring/payroll review and approval, conduct performance evaluations.

Develops, implements and monitors processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies and achieve department objectives. 

Collaborates with other business units to support organizational goals and objectives.

Communicates Credit Union goals and strategies, gains commitment, and builds teamwork.

Maintains knowledge of all guidelines pertaining to federal and state regulations and requirements to ensure the Credit Union is in compliance. 

Other duties as needed or assigned.

Consistently demonstrates the Westerra Way and complies with all polices and regulation.

Education Experience and Certification:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required

A minimum of 5+ years of similar or related experience

Knowledge of vehicle title or Deed of Trust documents and processing

Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to titles and deeds preferred

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent Member and Customer Services skills

Detail oriented, strong organization skills

Ability to work in a production environment 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Ability to exercise appropriate decision making within the scope of job responsibilities

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

Office environment

Works primarily at desk

Ability to lift 25 pounds
