Job Description

Primary Purpose of Position:
This position will be responsible for managing, leading, and organizing the documentation process for business and consumer lending in order to ensure efficiency throughout the department. Tasks include, but are not limited to L360 documentation of new loans, quality control, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position will continually review and adjust processes to optimize efficiency, member experience and controls. This position will work closely with branches operations and loan teams to ensure a smooth and timely process for the Credit Union Members. Deliver service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the credit union's Member Service initiatives.

Essential Functions:
Supervise staff with direct reporting relationship, support and train staff associated with all direct consumer lending delivery channels, develop and implement procedures for effective operation in the lending call center.

Responsible for effectively supervising the application processing queues to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner, follow-up is adhered to as set forth in Consumer Lending standards, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve areas of opportunity.

Responsible for efficient supervision of phone queues monitoring service levels, ensuring adequate coverage is provided, making recommendations to improve efficiencies and member service levels.

Participates in phone auditing to ensure staff is adhering to our audit evaluations requirements ensuring staff is performing member needs assessment, educating an offering additional loan products.

Effectively monitor internal member service reporting systems (EXP/Internal Surveys) to identify areas of opportunity for growth, provides coaching and mentoring to direct reports.

Develops, recommends and implements changes to improve production methods, system performance and quality of product to meet member demands and key performance metrics.

Monitors the teams’ loan closing documents for all consumer and business loan types according to Westerra Credit Union Consumer Lending Department service standards.

Monitor that loan closings and documents are delivered to members in a timely basis in according to Westerra Credit Union Consumer Lending Department service standards.

Other tasks include process mapping and streamlining, and ensuring that the team is fully trained and skilled on systems for quality and control

Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Education Experience and Certification:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of fiscal management and loan policies and procedures
Previous Experience in management preferred
5 years of lending processing experience

Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and initiative
